On August 1, 2006, the MTBE participated in the Much More Lecture Series at VONZWECK leading "The Mt. Baldy Expedition Nautical Knot Workshop," briefly lecturing on the history and technology of rope with an emphasis on laid line and shared a dozen of the MTBE's favorite nautical knots with the audience. This booklet was part of the Nautical Knot kit handed out to the participants.
